The fall season, as everything withers and dies from the ensuing cold. Dreams of my own death, Mortality, Old Age
lyrics
Amber Skies: The Shadow Of My Becoming
Nothing lasts forever, Dreaming my death once again
Autumn winds are changing... and so are the leaves that fall
Slowly dulled by time, broken and battered they lay
...The cold stretch of winter looming, dawning upon us,
for I cannot face these long months alone.
Damn this cold division, damn the very dirt that seeds me
I have tainted all that what was once pure
this fatal stain can never be erased
beneath the billows I bare this curse,
this inward stare, a gaze i cant forgive.
alone I fall headlong into despair
Ephemeral essence
the hourglass whispers...now rest
Take everything, from me
and watch as I fade away
like a waning moon
in the throes of darkness
these scars of old weeping through worlds of pain
So, whilst I await my term all alone
beneath the shallow nimbus of the Earth,
I shall rot For it was my want...my want
here, at worlds end, who will mourn the leaves that fell, [this bleakness my being]
the autumn breeze, the ocean's smell?
Ephemeral essence, the hourglass ....whispers in silence your time has passed
In the twilight of my life... Im more detached
as I Embrace the shadow of my becoming, I dream of you....
How I long for your warmth, your life, the color of green in bloom,
and The smell of the morning dew. Pastel day awaken my life...
and to end the oppression of winter this season of sorrow and gloom
Nothing lasts forever, Dreaming my death once again
Autumn winds are changing... and so are the leaves that fall
Slowly dulled by time, broken and battered they lay
...The cold stretch of winter looming, dawning upon us.
Hold on to me, don't let me fall down as I crawl,
hold on to me, don't bring me down
It begins...in a dream, and my loved ones are all left behind...once again
I rise...above...From this soil dark and cold
With Fear, I kneel Anxiously heeding the frost from my heels
Frail, succumbed, Below me, I see the world Ive left behind again....once again

Shroud of Bereavement's music is akin to attending a funeral for everyone you have ever loved. The Boston-based group
achieves this moribund feeling by incorporating all the right musical elements: cellos, piano, violin, and dual female vocal harmonies layered on top of harsh death vocals, played at the pace of mile-long funeral procession.....more

Russian Progressive Doom Heavy Rock... A nostalgic journey immersing influences and references from Rush to Sabbath. Instrumental of levels that escape comprehension in its construction and complexity with absurdly incredible guitar solos, lyrics and vocals of perfect melodies that deeply mark the soul - a magical album... 70's vibes! Female fronted awesome vocal on speedy formula, not your usual and sometimes boring sympho-metal... no no no, this is really something else, and worth listening to. Traditional HM with a hint of speedy/thrashy pace and drumming which makes you shake your head (or booty, or both). The "rogue" vocals makes this especially outstanding!! sachavonkarl74
